Knowledge Transfer at Goethe University Frankfurt

Knowledge Transfer at Goethe University Frankfurt

Goethe University Frankfurt conducts science with and for society. As the first German university established by citizens, Goethe University offers a wide variety of formats to strengthen civic dialog and to bring science to society.

To promote the reciprocal and mutually enriching exchange between science and society, Goethe University draws upon a wide range of knowledge and technology transfer activities and approaches, which are implemented together with political, economic, cultural, and civil society institutions and actors. We strive to generate impetus for society and create new paths and opportunities for innovation and development by engaging in knowledge exchange that impacts on practice. We also foster extensive networking with non-academic and industry partners. All transfer activities are complementary to, and synergetic with, our research and teaching activities.

Goethe University Frankfurt is located in the Rhine-Main region, one of Europe's economically most successful regions, with a high density of cultural, political, and international institutions – an ideal environment for social and economic cooperations.
